WARRANTY POLICY
(1 YEAR)

Effective as of: 21 October 2022

This 1 year limited warranty covers manufacturing defect recognized by Camps & Apparels Corp. Sdn Bhd (C&A) and is LIMITED to DEER CREEK TENTS (DOUBLE LAYER) ONLY. 

 

For any inquires, claims or returns, all communications must be made to its Customer Service Department at 016-9847559 or info@myoutpost.com.my

 

Irrespective of whether the said product, verified as with a manufacturing defect, has been used or not, C&A will firstly offer a repair solution or with part replacement. If C&A is unable to repair or replace with a part, C&A will exchange the product with another of equivalent product. If no equivalent product is available, a store voucher will be offered, equivalent to the same value of the original purchase price.

If a returned product has been verified with manufacturing defect, C&A will reimburse the cost of the courier to its HQ and will bear the cost of the shipping fee of the repaired/replaced product to

 

This Warranty (valid within 1 year from purchase date) is only valid and enforceable in Malaysia and will apply only if you have purchased the product from C&A or its authorized resellers, AEON, or OUTPOST retail stores.

 

Warranty Exclusion:

The Warranty does not apply to other Deer Creek products or non-Deer Creek product, even if packaged or sold with a Deer Creek product and does not apply to any counterfeit products.

It will also not apply if the product has been exposed for commercial use such as rental or commercial accommodation.

Other Exclusions Include:

1. Defect that come from normal use like tear, scratches, color fading

2. Defect caused by accident, mishandled like dropping the product, misapplication, wrong assembling / disassembling the product.

3. Defects caused by exposure to extreme natural conditions, liquid, or gasses

4. Defects caused by third-party (courier)

5. Defects caused by service (including repairs) performed by anyone other than Deer Creek authorized representative

6. Defects caused by a modification of a product without Deer Creek’s permission

7. Defects due to  external causes such as, but not limited to, water damage, exposure to sharp objects, exposure to excessive force, anomalies in the electrical current supplied to the product (if applicable), and extreme thermal or environmental conditions

Limitation of Damages

C+A IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (SUCH AS LOSS OF CONTENT, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, ETC.), OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE, CAUSED BY A PRODUCT DEFECT.

As the brand owner of Deer Creek, C&A has the sole right for the warranty and the right to alter, modify or in any way change the terms and conditions of the warranty.

Other Products

There is no warranty applicable for other Deer Creek products except as specified above.

HOW TO CLAIM THE WARRANTY

In-Store Purchase / Online Purchase

  1. Please take picture / video of the defective area

  2. Send to C&A Customer Service - 60169847559

  3. Please provide proof of purchase/ the receipt / Shopee order ID

  4. A decision will be made by C&A whether the item is to be returned for further inspection.

Returned for Inspection

  1. A solution will be communicated to you within 3 working days from the date C&A receives the returned item.

 

Repairs

  1. Please be informed our repairing process on the product will take up to 7 working days from the date the solution has been communicated and agreed upon.

How to Return Your Tent:

1. Drop-Off

  1. Please contact our Customer Service first before you drop-off your tent to our HQ in Pandan Perdana, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

  2. A form will be given to you along with our address for you to drop-off

*Please be informed, the drop off time at C&A HQ is from MONDAY - FRIDAY, 11AM - 5PM (Closed from 1PM-2PM)

2. Courier

  1. Please contact our Customer Service Dept first before couriering out

  2. Please provide us tracking number along with the shipping receipt

  3. C&A will reimburse the cost of the courier for the return to HQ, if it is verified there is a product manufacturing defect . However, C&A will not reimburse the courier cost if the defect falls under 'Warranty Exclusion'.

  4. Please send shipping receipt for refund process. STRICTLY NO COD courier term. C&A will reimburse the courier cost through ONLINE BANK-IN to your bank account (Reimbursement will be made within 7 working days from the date of receipt. We will contact you if it is taking longer than the expected time)

*Please be informed, C&A will not be responsible for any delay caused by the courier companies. If you have any problem with the delivery time, please contact your selected courier.
