Camps & Apparels Corporation Sdn Bhd Warranty Policy
Effective as of 1 July 2021
Depending on the product, Camps & Apparels Corporation Sdn Bhd, the brand owner of Deer Creek, offers a Limited Warranty against defects in material and workmanship under normal use as described in the published product documentation for 1 year from the date of initial purchase. The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser and is not transferable.
This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in Malaysia and will apply only if you have purchased the product from us or our authorised resellers. Deer Creek dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling. Deer Creek products do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way change the terms and conditions of the warranty.
Please refer to your product for the exact terms and conditions of the limited warranty for your purchase. The warranty included with your purchased product is your exclusive warranty. Please ensure that you retain your receipt as this document will be necessary for you to exercise your warranty rights.
If a product is replaced during the Warranty Period, the replacement product will be warranted for the remainder of the Warranty Period of the original product.
The Warranty does not apply to non-[brand name] products, even if packaged or sold with the selected Deer Creek product that is covered by the Limited Warranty , and does not apply to any counterfeit product.
Others exclusions include:
Defects that come from normal wear and tear, dents, scratches, fading, paint chips
Defects caused by accident including dropped product, neglect, abuse, misuse (including failure to follow instructions regarding care and maintenance of the product), misapplication, disassembly, or non-[brand name] products;
Defects caused by exposure to extreme natural conditions, liquids, or gases;
Defects caused by handling by third parties (such as postal service, airlines, hotels, etc.);
Defects caused by service (including repairs) performed by anyone other than aDeer Creek authorized representative;
Defects caused by a modification of a product withoutDeer Creek’s permission;
Defects due to external causes such as, but not limited to, water damage, exposure to sharp objects, exposure to excessive force, anomalies in the electrical current supplied to the product (if applicable), and extreme thermal or environmental conditions;
If the product serial number has been removed or defaced, or if the displayed serial number does not correspond to the nature, type, or origin of the product.

Limitation of warranty
THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS DOCUMENT ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Deer Creek SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Deer Creek DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR PROVIDE A REPLACEMENT PRODUCT THAT MEETS ALL THE CHARACTERISTICS AND FUNCTIONALITIES OF THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT.
This Warranty is only extended to the original purchaser or gift recipient of a product.
Limitation of damages
Deer Creek IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL (SUCH AS LOSS OF CONTENT, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, ETC.), OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE, CAUSED BY A PRODUCT DEFECT.
How to obtain warranty service
If you detect a defect in your Deer Creek product during the applicable Warranty Period, you should contact our Customer Service Department, as indicated in the “How to Contact Us” section below, for a replacement of your product.
When you contact the Customer Service Department, you will be asked to provide:
Your address and telephone number;
Your receipt ;
The date of purchase;
A customer service representative will provide you with the relevant instructions on how to ship your product to us. Do not return the product to us without authorization. You will be directed to attach a tag to the product that includes your name, address, contact number and description of the problem.
In case of repair or replacement, we will cover any cost of delivering the product back to you. However, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Deer Creek, including the costs of packaging, shipping, and applicable taxes.
Following receipt of the product, we will check the product and will issue a report indicating whether the product needs to be fixed or replaced and whether its defects are covered by the Warranty.
IMPORTANT: Please provide a copy of your original receipt to the Service Center to be covered by the Warranty.
IMPORTANT: Before you deliver your product for warranty service, it is your responsibility to empty your products and verify that you have not left any object or item in the products, such as in its pockets. We are not responsible for any items left in products sent to us for repair or replacement.
If the product needs to be replaced, we will keep the product and will arrange to give you the replacement directly. If the product is no longer available, we will substitute the product for a same price product chosen by you. In this case, a customer service representative will contact you to complete the acquisition of this new product.
If the product is irreparable and cannot be exchanged for an identical item, you will be provided with a refund.
If your Deer Creek product needs service or repair due to normal wear and tear, accident or some other reason that is not covered under the warranty we may provide the necessary service for a reasonable charge, plus shipping and handling. We require that products accepted for any repair be properly cleaned according to our recommended care instructions.
When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes our property. When a refund is given, the returned product becomes our property.

Product specific exclusions
Holes, punctures, or other damages may occur during the normal installation of a tent, whenever proper procedures are not followed.
Poles, ratchets, and straps
Wear and tear
Damage caused by severe weather / environmental conditions
Flaws in the fabric, if caused by excessive wear
Leaking through the fabric if it is suffering from UV degradation (often leaking fabric is in fact condensation on the inside of the fabric)
Condensation, usually caused by a lack of ventilation
Leaking through seams if excessive abrasion of the seams or the seam sealant tape has occurred
Broken zips if caused by forcing, jamming, or improper use
Seams coming apart if caused by over tensioning / stretching
Damaged caused by usage around fire
Damaged caused by usage around sharp objects and shoes
WARNING: Tent products are manufactured for use as a temporary structure and do not meet structural code unless specified. Since weather is unpredictable, you must exercise your own good judgment, common sense, and knowledge of local conditions with the installation instruction guidelines. You are responsible to anticipate weather severity for proper time and method of construction, appropriateness of the product for the intended site as well as evacuation or disassembly details.
